Visit SiteHi there! You’re meeting Ming—a board game designer and publisher who also goes by the name Brother Ming. In Chinese culture, it’s common to refer to male friends as “brother,” so depending on your age, you might call him “Ming Di” if you’re older than him, or “Ming Ge” if you’re younger.
As you get to know him, you’ll find that Ming originally dreamed of becoming a video game developer. However, after graduating from college, he chose a more stable, higher-paying job to support himself and his (now) wife. Still, his passion for games never faded. Being a board game enthusiast, he eventually decided to explore game design while working a typical 9-to-5 in the corporate software development world.
Your first glimpse of his journey’s success comes with his original board game, Re;ACT – The Arts of War, which gained traction on Kickstarter. Encouraged by this milestone, Ming made a bold decision—he left his corporate job to pursue board game design full-time.
Now, as you follow his journey, you’ll see someone eager to grow, learn, and create more engaging games. And he hopes you’ll be just as excited about his future projects as he is.
