Our headline Unmatched event in August 2025 showcased the Thrill O’ Thirty format — where only the latest 30 fighters were legal. This restriction forced players into bold drafting decisions and opened the stage for Volume 3 newcomers, Marvel heroes, and recent legends to prove their worth.

• James (4–0, Champion) – The only undefeated player. James ran a diverse set of picks (Tomoe Gozen, Ciri, Yennefer & Triss) and proved that clean fundamentals plus sharp draft reads beat raw power. His final round win over Onie’s Golden Bat sealed a perfect record.

• Taj (3–1) – The Volume 3 believer. Taj brought Dr. Jill Trent and Chupacabra into the spotlight, showing that these newcomers can go toe-to-toe with the crowd favorites.

• Noel (3–1) – Surprised many by using Chupacabra and the underrated Wayward Sisters to claw out big wins.

• Doctor Strange & Yennefer & Triss = Priority Powerhouses
  These two were almost always banned and, when played, felt overwhelming. Strange’s toolkit and Yennefer & Triss’s oppressive tempo warped matchups.
