A memorable series of events
Our latest Summoner Wars tournament at Greenbelt 5 brought back players for another clash of decks, bans, and nerves. This time, the 30-minute timer became a game-changer. Players were visibly pressured to make split-second decisions, and missteps often snowballed into decisive swings. Every summon, every attack, every wall placement mattered.

New Factions in Play
Compared to the August 16 event, this field had notable debuts:
-
Eternal Council – Anton’s winning pick in Round 1, a big meta story — their toolbox versatility gave him flexibility in bans and picks.
-
Obsidian Dwarves – Rayzon scored a win despite this faction struggling the last time
This was a marked difference from August 16, when the focus was on Chosen Grove and Isle Vekkid. The field is widening as players grow more comfortable with the newest releases.
Tournament Takeaways
-
30-second timer = stress test. Even experienced players were forced into suboptimal moves. Decision trees were cut short, which favored factions that can push raw tempo like Crimson Order and Cloaks.
-
Eternal Council = rising contender. Flexible enough to operate under the timer, Anton leveraged them into critical wins. Expect more players to study them.
The Most Banned Factions
-
Crimson Order – Still the most-targeted ban; their board control remains terrifying.
-
Skyspear Avians – Respected enough to draw bans when not picked.

Winner Recap
In the end, Anton stunned the room by clinching victory — not by clear match wins alone, but by surviving through the third tiebreaker: total Blood Points earned.
-
Rayzon – The Cloaks top pilot had an unexpected twist of fate, but still managed a 2-1 standing.
-
Wesly – Reliable with Crimson Order, adapting well to the timer and punishing slower opponents.
