We’re back with our monthly tournaments, but with a twist! This is to help new players learn the ins and outs of the game and for Veterans to try something different from the usual formats!

Minimum Players: 6
Maximum Players: 18
Schedule: October 18, Saturday, 12 NN - 5 PM
Venue: Uptown Mall
Format: 2v1, 3 Rounds Random Seating, Top 3 Cut
Time Limit per game: 45 mins
Fee: P350 including XP Whole Day Play

REGISTRATION & TABLE ASSIGNMENTS:
Players must register before the first game at the registration booth from 12 NN to 1220 PM. You must then proceed to your assigned table, where a Judge will confirm your presence via roll call. Absence in the assigned table during roll call will mean an automatic loss.

*The schedule is subject to change depending on the number of players, and matches may finish earlier than anticipated. 

TOURNAMENT RULES
The tournament follows the official rules, which are found in the Unmatched Core Rulebook and Unmatched Special Rules (Version 9.1 from BGG). Gaming Library rulesets are in effect for this tournament. 

HERO SELECTION
Players must bring two fighters from any set except for the list below, which will be the pool of hunters:

Bloody Mary
Spike
Chupacabra
Dracula
Jekyll & Hyde
Invisible Man
Eredin

Match Set-up
A map is randomly selected for the match. It is revealed.
Players will then be seated in threes: 1 random player will play as the “Hunter”, and the 2 as the “Hunted”.
The Hunted will then choose 1 fighter each.
The Hunter will draft from the Fighter pool listed above.
The Hunter can choose to change 1 of the fighters.
Once finalized, the Hunted will shuffle and split their deck into two. Health is also reduced by half, rounded up.
In player order, Buffy chooses sidekick, Geralt of Rivia chooses gear, and Yennefer & Triss chooses hero.
Shuffle decks and draw starting hands.
Place heroes on designated starting spaces.
In player order, place sidekicks.
Alice chooses starting size.
The Hunter starts the match.

Time Limit
Each game is 40 minutes.
There will be no timer per player, but stalling can be reported to the judge and might cause an automatic loss. If a match exceeds 40 minutes, complete the current game round so that each player has played the same number of turns. 

Match Rules
The Hunter will be the first player, then Hunted A will take their turn.
Next, the Hunter will take their next turn, then Hunted B will do so. Continue until the end of the match.
Sidekicks and any tokens stay even if their Hero is defeated.

Scoring
The Hunter scores 1 point per defeated player.
Any Hunted Player scores 1 point if they’re still alive after the timer or after 30 rounds. 1.5 points will be given if the Hunter is defeated instead.
