On each turn, you can take just one action—but every choice counts. You can either take gem tokens from the supply, purchase a development card, or reserve a card for later use. When collecting gems, you can choose three different colors or take two of the same, as long as enough are available. Buying a card means spending your collected gems to add it to your deck. If you’d rather plan ahead or block an opponent, you can reserve a card, keeping it face-down in front of you while gaining a gold joker chip, which acts as a wildcard gem.
