Rules

General Rules
The tournament follows the basic rules, which are found in the Dice Throne Rulebook v2.4.1. 
The tournament also follows the tournament rules found in the Official Dice Throne Organized Play Rulebook 2.2.
Before the tournament begins, Gaming Library will publish a bracket on Challonge, showing the route to the final. The bracket is public information and any player may ask to see their current standing in the tournament
On arrival, players must register and have their roster recorded. Each player is required to bring 3 different, officially-playable heroes.
Please respect each other including the judges and organizers.
Please respect the judge’s decision.

Format
We’ll follow the Competitive 1-on-1 Bring 3, Ban 1 format found on this page of the  Organized Play Rulebook.
The tournament will follow the Swiss format. Players will be paired with other players with a similar tournament score while ensuring that they won’t be paired to the same players twice.
Byes will be considered as wins and is given to a random player in the first round and to the lowest ranking player beyond that. Moreover a player may never receive a bye twice. 
Ties will be broken up in the following order:
Wins vs Tied Participants
Median - Buchholz
Points Difference (Health Differential)

Registration
Players are encouraged to arrive at least 15 mins before the start time for registration (Players who have pre-registered to the tournament online will be requested to present their order number).
Players are required to declare their 3 chosen heroes before the start of the tournament. They aren’t allowed to use any other heros aside from those 3.

Setup
A 2 minute setup period is given before each match for players to pick and set up their heroes.
Players will present their 3 heroes at the start of the match.
The ban/pick phase goes as follows:
Each player rolls a die. Highest wins. Winner gets to choose between the following:
First player to ban an opponent’s hero
Second player to ban an opponent’s
Each player rolls another die. Highest wins. Winner gets to choose between the following:
Be the first player to start the game and choose your hero first.
Be the second player and choose your hero after the first player chose theirs.
Set up your heroes as normal.
Players are expected to keep track of the starting player.
The tournament organizer/judge will announce the start and expected end time of each match.

During the Match
Please follow the proper player etiquette as indicated in the Organized Play Rulebook
Feel free to call a judge if you need any rule clarifications. There are no stupid questions.
Each match is only expected to last 30 minutes and must end on schedule. Should a match exceed the time limit and no winner has been declared, players will play one final turn until each player has an equal number of turns.
